Poplars is the Stevenage District Scouts Headquarters.
It is mainly used for district activities and events for both our youth and adult members - such as activities days and training events.
The main building has a large hall, which can be split into 2 halls (approx 1/3 and 2/3 of large hall). The main hall can accomodate up to 120 people.
There is a main kitchen accessible from the larger end of the main hall, and a smaller kitchen area available in the smaller end of the main hall. The main kitchen is equipped with a 5 ring cooker with a large oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave.
It is equipped to cater for approx 40 people.
The building comes complete with WiFi and a projector and screen (in the larger end of the main hall).
There is large grassed area (including a nature pond) to the rear of building that can be used for activities and camping.
There is plenty of parking in the adjacent Sainsburys car park.
Poplars is available to hire on a hourly rate
Weekdays - £15/hour, Weekends - £20/hour (Min booking of 3 hours)
