   
JOTA and JOTI are international events held on the third full weekend in October, offering all members of Scouting the opportunity to communicate with fellow
members from around the world, via radio and the internet.
Stevenage Scouts set up a radio station capable of communicating with other Scouts around the home Counties, as well as those from other countries.
JOTI chat rooms are often available for internet chat with Scouts from all over the world.
Additional activities with a communication theme are also available. For the Scout section this usually includes working towards the Communicator Activity
Badge and building a Morse Code Buzzer or a crystal radio.
The next Jamboree On The Air will be held over the weekend of the 16th and 17th October 2010 at the District HQ Poplars
