Who Are We?
We are the brand new Scout Network Unit that has started in Stevenage. We hold informal meetings once a fortnight at various locations in Stevenage. Occasionally we will meet in a Stevenage Scout HQ if we want to do expedition preparation or other activities that require additional space.
We want to make The Tom Moore Stevenage District Network as accessible as possible and for this reason we have made subs £10 per season (so £40 per year). This will cover capitation, which gives us insurance cover, badges and general overheads.
Our Network is driven by its members. If you want to go climbing, do a local camp, travel to meet another troop or just meet up for a drink and a chat then go ahead and organise it!
We are keen to get all members working towards their DoE awards and have access to all the resources you might require. We also have established good links with Hemel Hempstead Network, so there will be plenty of young likeminded people about.
