As an Explorer Scout, you will often be out and about at weekends or in the holidays doing activities.
There will be times when you will be busy doing other things such as exams, Explorer Scouting is designed to fit around these times.
As an Explorer Scout, you will get the chance to work with other Explorer Scouts in your District, not just your Unit.
By doing this, you will get the chance to do many more activities, not just the ones your Unit organises.
There is currently 2 Explorer Scout Units in Stevenage.
The Explorers take part in many events each year including Night Hikes, Dragon Boating, Camping competitions and working towards Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards.
Stevenage Explorers also organise their own fun and social evenings which have included the following events: Bowling, BBQs, themed nights, and an annual Xmas Meal.
