JOTA and JOTI are international events held on the third full weekend in October, offering all members of Scouting the opportunity to comunicate with fellow members from around the world, via radio and the internet.

Stevenage Scouts usually set up a radio station capable of communicating with other Scouts around the home Counties, as well as those from other countries. JOTI chat rooms are often available for internet chat with Scouts from all over the world.

Additional activities with a communication theme are also available.  For the Scout section this usually includes working towards the Communicator Activity Badge and/or building a crystal radio (Simple radio receiver that can pick up `Radio 5 Live' without the need for batteries or mains!).

Activities are also run for the Beavers and Cubs
